Glittr falls unconscious while the group defeats the four foes. We set up camp for the night. Pearl and Ari talk while talking. Pearl shares that she is upset with Ari and Glittr for not trusting Caulkin. Ari apologizes and thinks about her actions. Caulkin and Yrdlyn take the second watch. Caulkin shares that he is used to being treated like this while they talk. Caulkin speaks about the letters that are from his mother she wrote for him right before she left him (lies?).

While taking down camp the next morning, Pearl is visited by Prince of Frost who asks her about the book he gifted her earlier while in the manor. The entire group feels a chill enter their bodies as the conversation between Pearl and the Prince occurs. While speaking the Prince brings into existence Thava, and they continue to speak. Pearl shares that her magic is a gift and is not a natural ability like Ari’s is. She also shares that no gift is free and she is relatively safe from harm.

• We travel for another day without any events. Glittr and Caulkin speak about their previous argument and attempt to mend hurt feelings. Glittr repairs Caulkin’s bag and the two of them come to a moderate understanding between the two of them, but still with ill feelings.

We find the Old Owl Well after a short trip. We approach the building and find an old abandoned town. On the inside, there is a well and a red tent that is set up. Yrdlyn peers under the tend and notices a “stout red rogue figure.” We then are attacked by a group of undead and a fight ensues. During the fight Glittr attacks an undead who does not die despite taking a lethal amount of damage. A few members of the group call out to the man in red who calls off the undead monsters.

• Ari speaks to the man and we learn his name is Hamun. We learn he has been around for 1 month but he is hard to give up additional information about himself and his business at the well. Hamun shares that the well is an ancient magical site. Caulkin sneaks into the red tent, and finds nothing. Ari speaks with Hamun and learns that he controls the dead with a spell, Control the Dead. Ari also notices that Hamun had necromancy symbols all over his head. Caulkin asks him about Cragmar castle and if he knows the location. 

  • Hamun tells us that there are orcs in Wyvern Tor and he would like them cleared away. He also asks for us to speak with a Banshee: what is the name of the wizard who built this tower at Old Owl Well.

We leave and head to Conyberry to find Agatha. We take a trail and head deep into the woods and find a dome-like structure created out of trees. Ari and Pearl enter the home with the and see basic furnishings. A female elf appears in front of them, who is ragged. Pearl asks the question and 

• We learn 100 years ago or so, she traded the spellbook to a necromancer, Tsernoth, from the city of Iriaebor.

• Ari and Pearl snoop around her home and suddenly they hear a screech in their heads; Pearl’s HP drops to 0 and she falls to the ground.
