Taking Down Kayalithica

RC looks at the bow again and notices that it has a lot of connections to dragons. As RC plays with the bow, the dragon heads on either end of it begins to glow. As this happens RCs eyepatch begins to glow. Through his eye patch he seems almost a TV-like picture with vibrant flowers. It is almost a psychedelic visual experience. He sees Bahamut flying around him and as he does, he changes colors. Things begin to appear like they’re melting. 

• While this is occurring, we all see RC freeze for about 30 seconds. The group talks to RC about what he saw and experienced. RC suspects that the bow is from Bahamut and the visions were something from long ago.

We continue to explore and move southward. The next room we enter has carvings in the walls. In this room, there is a single stone giant who is petrified. We gather this is similar to the state we once saw Gunthias in when he was in Orlach Morrah.

• We explore the cave and realize the southern opening goes to the south at the river. We backtrack and head North. In the room, we see another body of water and additional elevated platforms. Caulkin is able to hear footsteps off in the distance.

As we move into the cavern, we see a large stone giant who is carving into a giant stalactite. As we advance forward we come face to face with Kayalithica. She has a magical adamantine great club. After a gruesome battle, Pearl uses her breath weapon and deals the final blow.

• We look at her dead body and we see a beautiful belt affixed to it, we see the conch. RC and Glittr try to investigate the stalactite but are unable to decipher part of the language written on it. The language is just too high to be able to read. 

• Pearl uses identify on the conch and realizes how to use it. It needs an action that uses the teleport spell upon being blown into.
