We decide to find a new bar for the night to check out in Silverymoon. Instead of the Flowerbed Inn we go to the Moonlit Inn, as Irish pub for tourists. 

• Pearl reads the note that Caulkin slipped into her pocket and she feels a rush of relief. 

• “Someone who loves me very much went all the way to silverymoon and all I got was this t-shirt.” In the Moonlit Inn we talk briefly before going to bed. Pearl and Caulkin share kind words and Pearl reminds Caulkin that the group loves and respects him. We make our way to bed, anxiously awaiting to see if Brylywnn rests upon waking.

While we are all sleeping, RC escapes out the window. RC and Bahamut sneak out to go visit Räyûvel. RC asks if it is okay that Bahamut joins RC and the parishioners. Räyûvel is genuinely in shock that Bahamut is here and they are not welcoming of the red dragon in their presence. RC pulls up his eye patch, his eye glows, and Bahamut disappears. Räyûvel states that RC is Snapjaw’s grandfather. Räyûvel spared his, Snapjaw’s, life at one point and Räyûvel freed them from the cult of the dragon.

• Snapjaw fought with Räyûvel and protected them from the “bullywogs” exterminanting the cult of the dragon from the castle. Räyûvel went back to the Mere of Dead Men.

• They share additonal information on Snapjaw and them helping fight. Räyûvel asks what RC is hoping to do with Bahamut. In a certain period of time, they have to prove the good they’ve done or everyone they have helped cultivate would be erased from the world. 

• RC admits they found an egg about 5-6 years ago, and when it hatched it was Bahamut. He is a chromatic drake. Räyûvel is intrigued by RC’s mission and makes a proposition for RC. Räyûvel asks RC to become a Harper and work for Räyûvel personally. He is asked to keep this mission semi-secret from th group. RC is given a Scroll of Sending, but Räyûvel is the sole recipient of the messages. Word of Recall spell that teleports 6 people in total back to Räyûvel’s castle over The Moon Bridge in Silverymoon.

Upon waking Brylynn is awoken refreshend. Pearl takes a point of exhaustion. We visit Räyûvel who uses Greater Restoration on Pearl and Remove Curse on Glittr. Glitter shares that Caulkin was referred to as The Cursed Child. We share information of our encounter with the apothecary owner in Longsaddle. 

• Räyûvel’s mentions that he may have heard of Richster based on Glittr’s description of him. Räyûvel’s leads up to one of the doors on the 2nd floor on the temple that we saw yesterday. Räyûvel’s tells Glittr to brace himself. In the room he sees a long military style room laid out in front of them.

• In the bed to the right Glittr sees Richster, he appears conscious. He is staring and Glittr but breathing breathing. Glitter asks if he can hear him to respond with a blink, but his eyes are glazed over. He is not able to communicate intelligently. Räyûvel is unsure of what is inflicting him. He was found abandoned in the road. Cured wounds, greater restoration, heal, dispel magic, and other incantations. Pearl casts identify on Richster, and as she is about to open her eyes, she is unable to. In the same beat, in Pearl’s mind she hears “Interesting. Now who might you be?” “I am an inquisitor. What have you created.” “He was foolish and tried to escape and so, we let him.” 

• Pearl eventually gives her full name, but did contemplate giving Fae’s name instead. “A trade is a trade. Your friends’ father has been impacted by the Feeble Mind Spell.” As she breaks out of the spell, she takes psychic damage.

• This is an arcane spell in nature, but seems to have some other power governing it as it was not lifted by Greater Restoration.

• Candlekeep, Arcane Brotherhood, or Waterdeep Library. 

• Laerael Silverhand is an arcane wizard caster. 

• The other two individuals in the beds are Harpers who were on Harper business and tasks. They sustain grievous wounds and are under Räyûvel’s protection and watch for the time being. 

• If we enter the High Forest, we should take caution. It is all along the road that we took on the way here. The two Harper agents were deep in the forest when they were stricken down. 

• Räyûvel can attach Richster’s hand in a 2-3 month time frame and Glittr hands over the wooden box. 

We were given access to The Silverymoon Archive and Harper Institute. In the archive we go to look up and study topics. We first read about the Giants and if a similar scenario of them losing control has happened before.

• Giant History: We know that this is called The Ordning. This is the name of the giant’s hierarchy and structure, their ranking system. This is passed down by Annam, the all-father. The Ordnin has never been broken. There is no recorded place in history when the Storm Giants were not in charged (Giant hierarchy: Storm > Cloud > Frost/Fire > Stone > Hill)

  • Annam is a giant god in their pantheon. The father of all the giant gods.

  • The Wyrmskull Throne is in possession of the Storm Giants. It is the most recent entry of the book of giant lore. It is mostly scribbles and there are question marks after most of the sentences. 

  • Storm giants have this? More details need to be known? Has cemented their power? Likely in possession by the Storm Giants.

• To learn about the Nine Hells we would want to go to the Harper Institute. 

• Here Caulkin reads a book about the Nine Hells. It is a viciously evil place filled with devils of all kinds. There are nine layers. The River of Sticks is the way of travel for commonsers and the Nine Hells. The leader of the nine hells is Asmodeus. Bethsheba does not seem to be connected to the Nine Hells. 

Brylywnn tries to research the Feeblemind Spell without luck. Pearl tries to research deities. She does so without much luck. 

At the bar in the evening, RC discloses that he snuck out and met with Räyûvel. He recognized RC because his grandson helped Räyûvel and his original party back in the day. RC admits to joining the Harpers in a low rank at Räyûvel's request. 

• That night Glittr and Pearl are restored.

We go back to the Temple of Selune in the morning. We see people walking away who state they have been kicked out for the day as a special guest is arriving.

• Bahmut and Caulkin have the restorative curses cast on them.

• We learn that Harshnag will be arriving later this afternoon, around 4 o’clock.
