Yrdlyn's Departure

In the Shadow Fell we all see a floating cloak that Glittr and Pearl have seen before. We are in the Shadow Fell and it is a mirror of what we are used to seeing. Tendrils come down from the sky and grab Yrdlyn and as the cape reappears, it is holding a candle with the symbol of Demir. The most powerful aspects of each of us begin to glow as the tendrils disappear again. (Caulkin’s bow, Yrdlyn, can wild shape level 8). As we exist in the plane, we begin to walk forwards and explore. We come across a stone bridge and we cross it, Pearl gets hit by a harpoon and gets yeeted into the woods on the other side of the bridge. We fight off the Lumlee, as identified by Fey.

They thrive in company. Ari takes 18” of grade A monster harpoon hand. We take a short rest and Brylwynn sees a twinkle in the NE sky. 

We move forward and see a cave with the twinkling light coming from it. As we approach we see a lion statue which melts away into a lion with wings and it speaks to us. After a grueling fight, we see scripture appear near the entrance of the cave. Caulkin and Yrdlyn read the message. The message calls for Yrdlyn to join The Raven Queen who needs her help to keep power in check. Caulkin fades away. Then, each of us, one by one, becomes empowered for a moment and have one last moment with Yrdlyn as we fade from existence and out of this plane. The Raven Queen embraces Yrdlyn with the final memory of her mother leaving her as a baby in the Glades. A vision of her mother collapsing overtakes her as the Raven Queen shares another memory with her as well. The warmth leaves Yrdlyn as she is blessed with the presence of her mother one last time as she is left in the Shadowfell.

The rest of the party arrives back on the material plane in full combat mode. We have vivid memories of us reliving past encounters before we come back to consciousness.
