We choose to explore near the water wheel more after Thava scouts ahead and discovers a lone Bugbear in a nearby hallway. We follow the water canal and discover a large room with a waterfall and a mysterious figure standing at the bottom. We opt to head back towards the glittering room and re-enter the room with the large stone door.

• We manage to get into the other room and discover a spectral creature in the room, which appeared to be Barracks at one point. The spectral creature identifies itself as Mormesk. 

  • Pearl recognizes that it is weak to fire, bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage.

• We search the room for treasure in the room and discover. 111 copper, 160 silver, 25 gold, 3 diamonds (100 gold each), wooden pipe with a platinum filling (worth 150 gold). Ari searches the bookshelves and discovers a book with a map for the cover called, “The Savage Frontier.”

We head back to the area where the bugbear is located. We charge into the room and a fight ensues with the Bugbear and a Doppelganger. We move forward and find a hall with a Dwarf sitting on a throne with a mighty warhammer.
