Civil War 2 Electric Boogaloo

We speak briefly after having pulled Ari out of the quicksand trap. Glittr and Pearl open the door to the right of the room. We do not detect any magic in the room and Thava is unable to see any creatures inside. Pearl pings a magical item in a row boat that is inside of the room. She finds a magical suit of armor. It is a Plate Armor of Lighting Resistance (image). [around 1:00 pm]. We successfully took a short rest. 

• While resting, Glittr feels his consciousness change to his training platform when he meets with Lliira. He is unprepared by this and feels a spike of adrenaline. He gets a sense of magnitude. Instead of seeing his bright torches of light he normally sees when he is visited by Lliira, he notices that the red torch extinguishes. She says, “Glittr, the time has come. Your time grows nearer. My champions spread happiness and you have always had a vision and room to grow and things to accomplish that I do not normally ask of my practitioners. Continue on this path and stay devoted to my cause and I will never forsake you. You have seem the power I can bestow upon 

  1. She states that Lovitar grows stronger and she is feeling her power weakening. Trust that I will not abandon you. To help weaken Lovitar, he needs to help spread the ideas of Lliira and stop the things that her believers try to spread. Spread this happiness. 

• After we are done resting Ari hears a voice in her head. It says, ““Yes… good… kill more. Defeat more. Our power grows. I can feel my tether growing. Continue this path and we will become unstoppable…”

We leave the room we rested in and Ari touches the pool of water in the larger cavern. Nothing happens when she touches the water. We try to open the last door in the room to the northeast. Pearl pings another magical item and finds 600 copper pieces, 700 silver pieces, 200 gold pieces. At the bottom of the bag she senses the magic is coming from a book. The book looks like this.

• The book has instructions on how to improve your speed, and other skills. Pearl identities the book. It is a Manual of Quickness of Action. We debate about giving this to Caulkin or RC but decide to give it to Caulkin.

• Ari decides to look at the pool in the center of the room but finds nothing. She has gills and webbed hands and toes for the next 3 hours.

We look at the tunnel that leads to the north. As we move forward, we see that we are in the valley. In the crevasse it is about 40’ down to the bottom. We take a look around the valley and try to scope it out. Our options are reverse course to where we came from, or climb down the landing we are on now and head north.

• We head west across the landing. Caulkin hears voices echoing from below the valley saying, “where are the intruders? I know they are here somewhere.”

We move into the cave and notice that we are on another platform inside of the cave. Inside of the room we see a series of platforms and a large campfire illuminates the room. Most interesting is that there are 2 stone giants meditating next to the campfire. We presume they are in an Olach Morrah, or the giant meditative state. We navigate through the room and explore another room where another campfire is lit. 

• We look inside of the room and get attacked by a group of individuals who throw spears at us. After a battle we take them down and look at their bodies, realizing they are likely members of the Blue Bear Tribe. It does not appear that this group of barbarians is the one that we heard shouting outside of this cavern. 

We carry on westward and see a large cavern that has a single lanturn burning in it. To the north, there are large 15’ stone tables that we cannot see the top of. The walls glisten with various semi-precious stones. We continue south and see that this path continues to make a circle with the larger room where the battle just took place. 

• A Slab or dais is in the center of the room. It pings as divination magic. As Bahamut flies around the room, he notices a pedestal at the base of the foot of a giant statue to the left/west. On it, there is a beautiful, large longbow. 

• Bahamut flies over and grabs the longbow to bring it to RC. When he does, it shrinks in size for RC to use as it is a magical weapon. As RC holds it, the bow feels to be very well crafted even though it is made from metal, not wood. At the string notches, there are two dragon heads visible. The dragon heads glow when RC says to Bahamut, “this must be a gift from Bahamut.” Pearl tries to use identity and when she does, she feels a small electric shock and drops the bow.
